The CCDSBC participates in many public programs throughout the year. To educate the public, it hosts radio and television programs, contributes to newspaper columns, and organizes the Annual Dental Health Fair in April each year, to promote oral health education.
The Chinese Canadian Dental Society of British Columbia was established in 1988 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It is an organization formed to promote and encourage its members to contribute to their community and the Canadian society-at-large. It aims to foster and develop professionalism, fellowship, and the welfare among all dental personnel. The CCDSBC also undertakes educational, cultural, athletic and recreational programs to promote and establish communication and cooperation between the CCDSBC and other organizations. Each year, the CCDSBC organizes Continuing Education Lectures for all dental personnel and holds different social functions, such as our Annual Golf Tournament and Annual Gala Extravaganza. It also funds scholarships and fellowships for dental education in Canada.
