Grant and Donations

Grant Protocol


Upon a written application, the CCDSBC will consider granting monetary support to organizations with programs or activities that satisfy one or more of the 5 objectives outlined in the Constitution of the CCDSBC. The criteria for approval are as follows:

  1. Approval by at least 75% of the Board of Directors present at the donation approval meeting is required.
  2. CCDSBC reserves the right to adjust the amount of the donation. This will be determined by majority vote of the Board of Directors.
  3. The maximum donation to any organization per fiscal year is 500.00 CAD.
  4. Up to 2 donations per fiscal year will be granted.
The CCDSBC fiscal year is defined as June 1 of the current year to May 31 of the following year. The application should include the applying organization's objectives and history in relationship to those of the CCDSBC, the program's purposes and benefits, its proposed budget and expenses, the time and amount of the requested donation. Deadline of application is May 31 for consideration in the following fiscal year.
