The Chinese Canadian Dental Society of British Columbia was established in 1988 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Its mission is to promote and encourage its members to contribute to their community and the Canadian society-at-large. It aims to foster and develop professionalism, fellowship, and the welfare among all dental personnel. The CCDSBC also undertakes educational, cultural, athletic and recreational programs to promote and establish communication and cooperation between the CCDSBC and other organizations. It also funds scholarships and fellowships for dental education in Canada.
The CCDSBC organizes many programs throughout the year. To educate the public, it hosts radio and television programs, dental health fairs, and contributes to newspaper columns to promote oral health education. The CCDSBC also provides continuing education lectures for all dental personnel and holds many social functions for its members.
Membership of the CCDSBC is open to all dental personnel. In fact, the CCDSBC is very much a multicultural organization with members from diverse backgrounds. Please refer to the Membership section for details on membership benefits.
