The Speaker: Dr. J.W. Martin Kim, is a periodontist based in Richmond BC. He attended McGill University for his Bachelor of Science and Dental Degree. After graduation from dental school, Dr. Kim studied at the University of Minnesota (Minneapolis, USA) to receive his certification in periodontics. In conjunction with his private practice, Dr. Kim is the director of the Metro Vancouver dental implant study club, where Dr. Kim furthers the knowledge of general dentists on implant dentistry and periodontics. Dr. Kim is a certified specialist as a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada [FRCD(C)] and a board-certified periodontist in the U.S. (Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology), with active memberships with the Canadian Academy of Periodontology, American Academy of Periodontology, Canadian Dental Association, and BC Dental Association.
